DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium batteries. -20'F min, +150'F max optimal operating temps (battery performs well down to -20'F). Avoid charging below 32'F. Discharge cut off at - 20'F / -20'C. Charge cut off at 23'F / - 5'C. BMS high temp cut off at 167'F / 75'C.
300A max continuous, 600A max 20-second pulse, 900A max 5-sec CCA pulse. LiFePO4 chemistry has a flat voltage curve, meaning this battery will maintain a voltage of >12V for the full discharge cycle in most applications.
100 A standard charge, 300A max charge current for 60 sec. Included is a LiFePO4 compatible charger. A SLA charger may work, but will reduce performance and lifespan of the battery. Even heat technology allows for charging below 32'F. Internal even-heat technology allows for charging below 0°C/32°F
Increases performance in extreme cold. When charging the battery in temperatures below 0°C/32°F DL's internal heating element will warm the cells to 0°C/32°F. This increases the lifespan, performance, and efficiency of the battery.
Contains a high discharge capable circuit that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff (10V) preventing over discharge, high voltage cutoff (15V) preventing over charging, short circuit protection and temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.
Dakota Lithium's cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 and UN 38.3 standards. They meet all US and international regulations for air, ground, and train transport.

ON/OFF CONTROL OF BATTERY TERMINALS VIA EXTERNAL DATA PORT
Control the terminals of your pack externally, or remotely. Two analog control pins allow you to connect either or both to a (third) power pin to disable charging or discharging. Independent Charge/Discharge shut offs can be triggered by an external switch or logic controller. Shut off only the charging function, or only the discharging function, or both, and re-activate them at will. Useful in larger automated systems or local smart-grid projects.
12V 50A charger included ($299 value). Dakota Lithium 12V batteries should be charged at 14.4 volts. Lead acid chargers will work, but will only charge the battery to 80% of capacity.
